Winchester Model 52B with Malcolm 20x Target scope range day.

My 1936 52B with the same scope. It shoots CCI SV not quite as good as very expensive target ammo but much cheaper to spend an afternoon shooting.

For Sale A S&W third model single shot target pistol $1500.00

I'm going to sell my 3rd. model single shot target pistol. It sold at the Rock Island armory Oct.3 - Oct.5 auction for right at $1400.00. Add the tax, fees etc. probably close to $2,000 final cost. It's in excellent condition and all numbers match. I'm not sure about the grips. There is a much...

    Ruger Old Army

I really don't plan to shoot any black powder loads in it. I hesitate to call any older gun unfired but this one is pristine. I ordered a conversion 45 colt cylinder and plan to load up and shoot mild cowboy loads in it. I'll put the black powder cylinder in the box and keep it new. The rest...

    Ruger Old Army

I have done a little research and while the 1972 Old Army does have some collector value, I think I'll just shoot it a little. I'm an old man and been fooling with guns for years. I'm not a collector just a accumulator. I've managed to accumulate a few nice old guns and by now I've had just...

    Ruger Old Army

In poking around my usual haunts, I ran across a Ruger Old Army. I've never had much interest in black powder guns but this one was in it's original red and black box with the paper work and the ruger nipple wrench in it's envelope included. It looks never fired. The whole gun is pristine...

    More .38 Super carrying-on

My Tisas Super 38. Very well built, I put a 18.5 lb. recoil spring in it as I load 38 super pretty spicy. Going for the old time Texas Ranger look.

Do you have a link to that auction. What did it hammer at? Wonder how it wound up at a gun show in Knoxville Tn.

I believe I will. I recently lettered a 32 safety hammerless that came back as a genuine bicycle gun, so I'm on a roll.

I went back and inspected the gun with a strong light and a 10x loupe. The barrel latch does match being 4045. The beginning 4 and the ending 5 are struck somewhat light. The barrel also matches with 40 struck on one side of the latch and 45 on the other side. I appreciate your interest in this...

Thanks, I have thick skin when it comes to gun discussions. In this case, it's been extremely interesting and helpful. I'm very interested in all these old guns especially target rifles or pistols. I also have and shoot a 1936 Winchester 52B which is my favorite but this pistol is getting up...
