Nice find at a very good price for a 3" K nowadays. Here is mine, a 64-3 that is a close relative of yours. I changed out the grooved trigger to a slightly wider smooth one and it makes it much better to shoot in my opinion.
I haven't had any completely disastrous experiences, but a did go to a dealer that had 5 model 4.25" 69's and every one had barrels that were over screwed so that the front sights were not at true 12 o'clock. I gave up and left without one.
I really like the 1980's vintage from S&W. P&R had gone away, but the quality and features like flash chromed parts, factory wood grips, hammer-mounted firing pins, etc. I've let some good ones from that era get away, but am happy to have these.
I picked this up awhile back and finally had a holster made for it from Wright Leather Works. The 2075 Rami is about the same size as the Glock 26 and has been discontinued, and holster makers for it are less common. There was this grip maker, Hakan Pek from Norway I think, who used to make...
Acquired this very nice 64-3 from member Eddietruett, who is a fine person to deal with. It came with magna grips numbered to the gun, and I had these nice round target grips, which I think finish it off nicely.
I think the actions are both PC-tuned. The PC 642 has polished cylinder flutes, thumb piece, trigger, sideplate screws, cut for moonclips, the hybrid rubber/wood grips and no lock. I have a PC 642 and it is the bomb.
Good grief. S&W sees it foot and decides to shoot it. The lockless 2.5" 19 - just make it blued for goodness sake, so it is actually something people want.
