I just found it distracting that the Delta began to disappear as the sights came in line.

I tried the deltapoint "7.5 MOA Delta Dot" configuration on my CORE 9L and when cowitnessed half of the Delta Dot disappeared at the bottom edge of the display. It works fine otherwise but the disappearing dot is a bit disrupting.
My other CORE has the 3.5MOA Trijicon RMR and it works perfectly...
Left to right, use a sight pusher otherwise you will have a bear of a time and will mash your punches in the process as you've discovered. Seriously, use penetrating oil and a pusher.

The only component bearing a serial number is the polymer frame. The two steel block assemblies and all other components can be freely replaced. I have heard of a few frames having issues, but mostly, it seems, due to non-factory ammo use.

If you have the required tools, it is a very easy job - EXCEPT for removing the rear sight to replace the striker block. This requires a good sight pusher or a lot of courage, a vise, a big hammer and a brass punch you don't mind sacrificing to the cause.

You can use a ball point pen (tip retracted) as a handy tool to move the little lever.
Personally I don't stick my fingers into the action, ever, but I understand the value of physical verification that the gun is EMPTY.
