    Wally World Had What?!?!

I was out cruizing our local Super Wally World tonight in good ole Lawton/Fort Sill Oklahoma, and I always swing through the sporting good section to see what ammo is being stocked and to see if there are any other items of interest. Well wouldn't you know it, there sitting in the gun case for...

What do you use for plinking targets?

I agree the cube is less than stellar when popping it with .22 rounds...kind of lost my mind for a second and forgot we were talking .22 plinking (the ball is much better). When I'm playing around with 5.56mm, .45 cal, and 12 gauge rifled slugs, that cube is a rockin!!!

Reactive Targets I like playing around with these... Ground Bouncing Impact Seal Reactive Targeting The cube is my favorite of the bunch.

First pull is always the hardest. Each subsequent pull gets easier and easier.

    Standard 15-22 vs. MOE (magpull)

This...only difference between the two is the furniture. MOE is great value for the money if you want Magpul furniture and plan to leave it that way. A1 Comp is the way to go if you have other preferences (i.e. Houge pistol grip, Vltor stock, Troy sights, etc.).

    New Magazine Prep.

You're not alone Sidewinder. Every new mag I pick up I disassemble and put a light coat of CLP on the spring and follower. Put it back together and work the follower with the load assist buttons until the action no loner feels gritty. Disassemle everything and blow everything out with the air...

    CCI AR Tactical ammo

Picked a couple boxes up a few weeks ago and had a chance to test them out this past Saturday. I sent all 375 rounds down range from one box without a single issue. They grouped very well and burned fairly cleanly. Of course I still have another box to try out which I may or may not...

NEW 617 3 steps away from perfect

Wow, this thread is kind of disheartening. I'm currently on a .22 kick and was drawn to this forum due in part to the sweet little M&P 15-22 I picked up awhile back. I've been considering picking up a .22 wheel gun and from what I have researched from various sources, it appears the 617 is the...

3rd time back to the factory.....

This. My 15-22 when new never had any FTEs. Wasn't paying attention when cleaning one night and snagged my boresnake on the extractor. Next range outing started having FTEs. Broke open the rifle and tweaked the extractor "back to the appropriate position" and she ran as smooth as butter...

    M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Keyhole, how much does your rifle weigh all dressed up? Just curious. She does look killer though.

What yardage to zero new 15-22

Zero at the distance you mostly shoot using your favorite ammo and have fun blasting away. You'll have a good baseline to start with once you start documenting windage and elevation deviations for the various types of ammo and ranges you will encounter will enjoying your rifle.:D

A little off subject from the 15-22

Part of the fun! You are going to have fun finding answers to your questions. I think Dobie has put you on the correct path to success though. Just a few tid bits I will add to some of your questions. 1) What is the best AR type .223/5.56 on the market for around $1,200? There are many to...
