    Torture Tests

I'll happily watch someone else abuse commonly available guns that I didn't pay for , why not . Dudes want to put a SCCY under water and shoot it then throw it off a cliff? Knock yourself out. It ain't my gun However, those idiots who bought an old Colt 38 and bent the barrel, then shot it...

    very ugly 13-3

Looks like someone tried to scrub rust off with a wire brush I'm lazy so I'd probably just tear it down completely, clean and oil everything and leave it . It would be a good range banger I'd guess it was an old Duty gun that got stuck away somewhere in the leather holster and forgotten about

    Finally a 64 owner again

The slang terms are way more common, even though S&W grips are officially called "stocks" most people won't know what you're talking about As long as people don't call revolver grips "handles" I don't get annoyed Pencil Barrel sounds cool to me, I'd imagine it's probably a term that's been...

    Moon clip holders

I use nylon speedloader pouches, the nylon "forms " to the loaded clips and you can fit 4 clips in a double speedloader pouch

    Popularity of the 32 S&WL

I like .32 Long , I had a 4" Model 31 I should have kept I have read that some female Police Officers in the 60s-70s carried S&W 31s as Duty Guns I don't handload and with factory .32 Long being expensive, I might as well shoot .38 Special

    Is the .40 dead ? Let's see some !

    I have a few. A S&W 4046 police trade in , a Ruger P94 DAO .40 and a .40 Chiappa Rhino I like .40, I carried a Glock 22 years ago when I was a nuke plant Guard, I always shot well with it

    Finally a 64 owner again

There's some really beautiful guns in these pics, those pencil barrel 4" and 3" 64s are probably some of the best looking revolvers ever made .

    HomeSmith: Long Tom SAO conversion

I used to have an 8 3/8" 14 SAO and I always wondered what the advantages of not having a DA hammer dog were and why people didn't just use Target Hammers, and not use them in DA

    Finally a 64 owner again

After years of not owning any 64s, having sold off my collection a while back where I had a 64-3, -7, -8 and an NY1, for reasons I don't even know probably to chase something else "cool" I missed having one . I have a 10-6 and 67-1 and they're great. But the 64 is probably my favorite S&W...

    Switch out MIM parts

The more I tinker with guns. The more I've learned to just leave them alone and shoot them

    Cabelas has a new 5946

I saw one at a PA Cabelas. I already have a 5946 so I didn't feel a need to check it out. Don't shy away from them, the DAO 5946 has a very sweet , short trigger stroke and I shoot very well with mine. I also liked it so much I found a "KPD" marked 4046. I'm the opposite of most here, I...

Getting older, what is your firearms endgame?

57 years young! I shot in a pistol match with late 60's-70 something year old Vietnam vets and a lot of those guys smoked my scores. I'm 37 and I shoot the living (heck) out of everything I own, because you never know what tomorrow may bring.......I have one daughter but I live my shooting...

    Tulammo 357 Magnum problem

Sorry to "zombie" this thread but I had to chime in........I tried the TulAmmo .357 today for the first time in a DA revolver, one of my range beater Ruger GP100's......fired fine, very accurate, but I had to tap the ejector rod against a piece of wood to get the shells out. Normally I HATE...

    The ubiquitous Model 10

Very nice guns everyone:) The 10 is still my favorite S&W, I have several of them, also an M&P from 1919. I plan to use my C&R to pick up a few of those neat 1950's M&P's, probably the best looking of the series IMO.
