It's alive!! After thoroughly cleaning and lubing the shield, I was able to put around 200 rounds through it last night without having the slide get stuck. There was one instance where it felt like the slide didnt slide smoothly, but it didn't get jammed. I won't be making this my CCW anytime...

I did not fully clean it prior to going to the range, I was too excited to try it out. When I got home I did clean it. I am going to try to make it back to the range later this week and see if I still have the problem. Thanks for all the quick replies.
