I have one, too. Mine was a b-day gift in 1966. It was made in '65 and has, what I believe are, beech stock and forearm. It seems there was a problem with obtaining walnut the year my rifle was made. I added a Williams aperture sight and sling studs. It has been serving me well ever since.
