M&P 15-22 star on back of owners manual?

My instruction manual has a red star, and the ejector appears to be the same as GillAgin's. It's been to cold to get to the range yet, but will post results as soon as I get a chance to shoot the thing. Sorry for the blurry pic, but I was in a hurry to include a photo with this post. SteveK44

Less Is More: Removed the open sights and added a Pentax Gameseeker Red Dot. I love the clean look. SteveK44...:-)

    Ejector Problems?

All the bad press the M&P ejector is getting is making me paranoid. Anybody have any idea what percent of this new .22 are having these problems? I purchased a new one about a month ago but have not gotten to the range yet. SteveK44..

    M&P 15-22 "Ups and Downs" w/Federals

Great post: This is a great post with plenty of information on magazine jams. I plunked down my $449 a couple weeks back and am itching to run a couple hundred rounds through it. Thanks to this post I feel I'll be prepared for any magazine glitches. SteveK44:

    Well, I did it...

Thanks to all the encouragement I went ahead and did it. Below is the straw that may have broken the camels back. You guys know, new floors, new cupboards and all that mundane stuff, when it's obvious this is what a guy is made of. SteveK44...:-)

    15-22...I guess I'll give it a shot:

I've read all the good and bad about the new 15-22 and I must admit it gives me a lot of apprehension, however the local Scheel's, where I purchase most of my guns has a couple of these new S&W's in stock. I gave one a good looking over yesterday and it kept screaming "Buy me" the whole time...

Thanks a bunch guys, I wasn't quite sure if two at once was the right move. But after seeing the beautiful pair from Stainz I can hardly wait to take delivery. SteveK44..

    629 Input Request:

Good Morning All: I've looked at the 629 for a long time, both 4" & 6" and have never been able to decide on one, so yesterday I ordered one of each. I sure hope I did the right thing, as they are a bit pricey. Anybody ever been in the same predicament? Any input will be appreciated. SteveK44:

    S&W 44 Mag 7.5"?

Thank you for the input, now here is my dilemma. My local Scheels store has a pre internal lock 44mag which they say is a Model 629 7.5 inch which they are asking $549.00 for. I looked the gun over and it is in excellent condition, however I was in a hurry to get to another appointment and did...

    Did S&W make a stainless 7.5 inch 44 magnum in a model 29, or 629 pre-internal lock? Thanks Steve
