I bought a FS M&P 9mm the end of March, then in April got both a compact .45acp and a Shield. Loving the platform.

I've gone from basically 100% Glock for my full size home defense/CCW weapon to more M&P's in the last 2 months. I'm really loving the M&P platform and wish I had given it a shot years ago. I also work 1-2 days a week in a friends gun store and am amazed at how many people who come in asking...

Haven't per se dumped other platforms, but have severely limited or reduced. Used to have a ton of Glock's, now i'm down to a Glock 17 EXO and Glock 21SF both guns I intend to keep no matter what. Also have a couple of Caracal's, various pocket guns and a new FN FNP-45USG. But I have more...

Not everyone trains with the bullets facing forward.;) ETA: It can also be reversed to run bullets forward.

Left side holsters are no problem, even have a fullsize .45acp. Although I do prefer my 45 compact.
