They really do look gorgeous, and completely change the look of the pistol. Makes me wonder if I should have...
I think the looks of it throw some people off--its not as strange as a Beretta Neo, but it is definitely...different. But I've seen one with wood grips and it looked spectacular (wish I could find the pic).
One other thing to note if it matters; I know which seller you are referring to, and he is a very good guy. You won't be disappointed with the transaction.
There are also a few 5904s on Gunbroker, some of which are pretty cheap. I have thought about buying one of the more beat up pistols...
I hope to snag a 5906 sometime soon, but noticed that some of them come with a rear sight guard (proper term?). I am not particularly fond of it aesthetically.
1) Does it really serve any use for a range gun?
2) Does it come off?
