9mm loaded ammo is non existent in my neck of the woods as are a lot of calibers like 223. I'm lucky I reload but there are NO small pistol or small rifle primers to be had.

I have used the RCBS primer swager for over 30 years. It does leave a slight radius if adjusted properly. I have never bothered with uniforming the brass either.

No small pistol, no small rifle either.

I recently bought a 10-5 re-import for $204.00. There are a number of vendors selling them. Just google "HG2422" which is the model number for the various sellers.

My personal model 36 has honest wear from carrying it and as such I wouldn't consider refinishing it. However, I just purchased a re-imported 10-5 that has a lot of holster wear on it and am planning to have it hard chromed.

I've given up on CCI small pistol primers. I thought I had a bad batch of primers because even with solid primer strikes I still had failures to fire. I went to Federal 100's and had no further problems.
