    681PC Birdsong Green & Black trade-in value?

"When you trade in you always lose." Amen. Amen again. I have only once made a trade to the good. In 35 years of firearms dealing.

    3 inch Chief Special Revolver

I am a big fan of the 3" small frame revolver also, and have owned a couple of SW's in that size some years ago. I currently have a Taurus 3" M85, 3" barrel, I have noticed there isn't a big choice in IWB holsters, unless you go the custom made route. A Detective Special in 3" bbl length is a...

I owned one briefly, yours looks great..... You should try fitting the SW 3rd (6906/6946) generation grips on it.

    Scotch Brite for Stainless Finishes

The brushed finish is nice, but I prefer the matte beadblast finish, but be beware of the glass bead size, the beads used in road markings are much larger than others, until they break down, it leaves a more pockmarked look. However not everyone has access to a bead/sand blasting cabinet.

    J frame for Home Defense?

I recently had a weeklong debate with myself deciding whether to purchase a 3" 327 Magnum revolver or a 3" 38SPL revolver. I chose the 38 SPL, based on the larger ammo choices, but why am I still thinking about the 327 Magnum?? Guess best thing for me to do is not read gun postings on the...

    S&W 547

You sure you didnt pay $1,274 instead of $274? Just kidding! I wish I were so lucky to find one . That being said, I owned both models, the 3" one first back in the late 80's, traded that one in on a high capacity auto, then found the 4" model in a gun shop in Roanoke,Va about 1989, kept...

    Scotch Brite for Stainless Finishes

Be sure to get all the abrasive grit out of areas, believe it or not, those pads put off some minute particles...part of the abrasive process. I always rinsed in Mineral Spirits after wards, and had better luck with the red pads.

    WTB-IWB Holster 3" bbl J-frame or Taurus

I have not had any luck finding a reasonable IWB holster for my Model 85 3" Taurus. Right Hand. Very few generic makers of 3" small frame revolver holsters, most are custom. Looking for any color, with either belt loops or clip, nothing fancy, and used is okay. Please message me with what...
