@CopeMech, I had a very similar problem with my MP 10 when I first bought it. It caused me all kinds of headaches and I finally sent it back to the factory for repairs. All they would tell me is that they replaced the mag and repaired the barrel.
When I had the problem of not ejecting, the...
I agree with GDNagle and CajunLawyer, mine is a toy also. Plus I think someday AR style rifles may be banned so I wanted to get one I could use for hunting if I ever start again.
Mainly I just take mine to the range and shoot with friends for the sheer joy of it.
I leave the home protection to...
I finally got my rifle back from S&W. All the report said was that they repaired the barrel and replaced the magazine. I called S&W customer service today and they couldn't give me any more information than that either without finding the gunsmith that worked on it and ask them.

Just an FYI for anyone that is thinking of sending their rifles back to S&W for warranty work. I called today and they told me it usually takes them about 3 weeks before they can finish and ship the rifles back to us. I still have to wait a couple more before I can go back to the range now.

I called S&W today just to get a time frame on how long they typically keep the guns for warranty work. It takes them about 3 weeks. So it will be a few more weeks before I get to take it back to the range.
@CC426 My rear take down pin is way tight also. I have to use something to punch it out...

I was having the same problem with rounds not feeding correctly. Only I couldn't fire more than one or two rounds consecutively without a failure to feed. I was only able to fire about 12 rounds when I got fed up with everything and switched to another gun. I am also getting long scratches or...
Rojodiablo, all the brass, fired and unfired was scratched up. The unfired brass were the ones with the dents and heavy burrs on them and the copper jackets.
I returned the spare magazine that I bought for the rifle in case it was having the same issues. Both magazines were hard to load and the...
Hi All, I'm glad I found this forum, and I'm glad I'm not the only one that had this problem. I bought my MP 10 in May and I finally got to shoot it last weekend at the end of Jun. I was never able to fire more than 2 rounds in succession without the gun failing to feed. I had stripped and...
