Finding a factory bolt for sale, that is the trick. I will say the #1 after market fix for the 15-22 is replacing the extractor. Each gun I've seen running the factory one had reliability issues that were fixed after it was replaced. The bolt doesn't seem to be a problem.

Volquartsen now offers a "competition bolt" for the 15-22. A bit pricy (though I would have paid when I was looking), but comes with their (better) extractor and firing pin.

So I decided to order from Rangemaster (the .se not .com website) in Sweden. Other than shipping taking a little longer to get to me, all good. They had the bolt buffer (and several other parts that nobody else seems to have for the 15-22).

I've sourced all of the parts for a complete bolt assembly except the Bolt Buffer (sometimes called a Bolt Stop) for a M&P 15-22. Does anybody know where I can order one? Not even listed where I find all of the other parts: Gun Parts Corp/Numrich Midwest Gun Works I do find it at...

I haven't found where you can buy an upper (other than an integrally supressed one) but you can build the upper. Numrich/Gun Parts Corp has all of the parts (original S&W) for everything to make your own upper. Or get some aftermarket parts for upgraded things like barrel or handguard.

Here is what I can't find. The bolt. Either full assembled or the parts (bolt, firing pin, etc.) to make it. Both Numrich/Gun Parts Corp and Midwest Gun Works carry them from S&W and both are Out Of Stock. Midwest Gun Works gets a few back in stock and they are gone with an hour or so...

Depends on the parts. Numrich/Gun Parts Corp has everything to build a new 15-22 except the lower receiver. But not everything is in stock. Midwest Gun Works has many S&W made parts. Some that also aren't in stock. Several companies make their own 3rd party parts like barrels...

I shoot Steel Challenge and use a chamber block that goes in the mag well and sticks up between the bolt and the chamber. I find it easier to get in than a flag that needs to be threaded into the small chamber of .22 and it holds the bolt back and lets the chamber cool off some. Being bigger...
