Not a bad price. For pocket carry, I'd go with a 642 or 638. The exposed hammer could get caught in the pocket more easily. In a cargo pocket, it would work fine.

Mine is peeling like crazy on the back strap. Think of it as building character on the gun. :D

I dont know of anyone in the area, but mine has been like that and showing the dark steel on the backstrap for four+ years. No rust and still shoots great. I wouldnt worry about it unless you dont like the looks. :-)
