Looks don't count for a lot with me. I rocked my glock with some after market goodies and added some XS sights, all myself. How many guns makes can the owner do that too? My 23 would be the last gun to leave my side.

I wasn't fond of the sights either. Swapped them out with XS sights myself. Much nicer, not too pricey.

Not sure about your idea of mods ruining the value. I only have 2 unmodded guns and probably a dozen modded. Each modded gun is worth way more than factory fresh. Some mods I did myself, most were done professionally.

Hey guys. The tritium vials on my sights are getting a little weak. Any suggestions as to what sights to get as replacements? Can the vials be changed out? Got this Performance Center gun a few years ago and shoot and carry it but would feel better if the sights were brighter.

I carry my 642-1 in an Uncle Mike's #3 in front pocket. Hardly know it's there. You made a good choice!

Take her to a range where she can rent different handguns to see which feels better. J-frame would be my choice. My wife handles her scandium frame snubbies just fine. We have 4 J-frames total. Nice to have a choice.

If by snake shot rounds you are talking about Glaser rounds, I'm not sure I would use those in a Mag-na-ported gun. I have the Hybra-port in mine and stick with traditional ammo.

I can report back on that one and I'm happy to say that the hybra-port 340PD I own helps. I only shoot one cylinder at the range with the heavy stuff just so I know my POI hasn't changed, not to give my hands a break. I follow up with lot's of +P. I also shoot at night sometimes and the flash...
