    S. & W. Model 457 Hammer Retrofit

    I could use some advice. I recently had the good fortune to acquire an M-457. This is my first spurless hammer sidearm. Does anyone know if a hammer with a spur can be installed. Is there any downside to this sort of alteration? An extra OEM 7 shot clip would be a plus. Thanks for your help
