Extra Mags
I always try to carry an extra mag
It is imo a good tactical habit to have simply because I would rather be looking at more rounds than looking for them! I would say carry the extra mags. You just never know.
I finally got a chance to get to the range today to fire my m&p40 with the new oem replacement 357 Sig barrel installed. The weapon functioned flawlessly. I love the 357 Sig round! I shot approximately 75 rounds through it.
Ok I will do that as soon as I finish the 24hr. break in with the new guide rod spring assembly(tonite) and I will go through the steps you suggested.
I will give an update as soon as I finish the tests.
Clenceo,
thank you for the help. the slide is brand new I will lock it back asap.
I am left handed so that wasn't the issue. I did put an empty mag in and racked the slide back several times and it locked. it happened every time i fired the weapon.
I replaced my stock guide rod with a steel guide rod (17lbs.) and after the last shot on the first mag the slide didn't lock took the steel guide rod out put the plastic one back in and it locked on the last shot on only one of the mags. ***! how can i fix this issue?
Black Oxide Steel replacement guide rod assembly
Correction I ordered a 17lb. Black Oxide Steel replacement guide rod assembly does anyone know anything about this?
I just ordered a ss guide rod for my sd9ve. I noticed while cleaning my weapon that the flat end that sits against the barrel was starting to wear. (Not Good).
