Honestly both. The height isn't too much of a concern, it is just barely off but I am able to still use it without concern or any hassle. Also, it is mis-aligned left to right as well. The magnifier tends to favor being off a few degrees clockwise.

I don't really like the quality of it because for some reason it is not 100% perfectly straight. I got it to be about maybe 98% straight but it does work in conjunction with the barska scope quite well. It was only $30 shipped as opposed to the 'real deal' which is maybe $250-300. I honestly...
