I carry a 5" Colt Series 70 IWB rather often.

I use a Smartcarry for deep concealment. I carry either my M65-3 in it or a Taurus M85.

Ok, with the increase of ammo prices I've gotten desperate enough to give this a shot. Given moon/ half moon clips will UMC 9mm FMJ shoot well enough in my M65-3 or does the cylinder have to be machined to accept them? I've got plenty of 9mm but .38/.357 is hard to come by here in practice loads.

Possible. However, you'd have to survive the encounter to worry about hearing loss. Anyone who chooses a HD weapon based on this criteria has their priorities misplaced.
