If I understand this correctly, no adapter is needed. The shroud has set screws itself so no need for the set screw adapter.

Tacticool 4.5" Short Barrel Shroud Anyone that used the 4.5" from tacticool want to share any photos. In the images I've seen it looks like the rear end is open. Can any verify this?
