Honestly I'm really not sure. I don't think it's really all that different from other milspec buttstocks other than the S&W symbol, can't say though. I replaced the whole buttstock with a buttstock that has a quick disconnect sling mount built into it. -Pat Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I have the original buttstock for my M&P with the sling mount laying in my spare parts box. I replaced it before I even fired the rail with another buttstock. I'd be willing to throw it in a box and send it to you if you're in the US? -Pat Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
