Does anyone know the start and stop dates for the 310 production? Also, any idea how many were made?

    642 Action Job

Definately not an expert. Recently had an action job on my 642. It is much smoother and slightly lighter. The gunsmith also polished the trigger itself, the edges were very sharp. The other thing which gets to your question is that it appears the smith did lube the inside components well. I...

    442 and 642 ??

You will have to decide which look you like best. I had plenty of black already and went with the 642 with the factory installed CT laser.

    686 vs. 442 - Big Difference

In Texas you can only qualify with .32 or greater. If you qualify with a semi-auto you may also carry a revolver, but not the other way around. The Caliber that you qualify with has nothing to do with what you can carry.

    First time with the 642

OWB holster for 642 with a laser?

I have been very happy with the Mitch Rosen 5JR EXP that I purchased from Crimson Trace. Free shipping and a 30 day trial period.

    Bashing Taurus

Agree with ladder13. My $2k pistol given up to the poloce after use is insignificant. Perhaps the only valid argument that can be made is that it is not able to be pawned to pay for legal bills.

    Cleaning your 642

CLP works great. Hoppes elite and a bronze phosphor brush on the cylinder front cleans like new.
