Hey, all. I need to whittle down my collection so I'm selling my M&P 40. I bought it a couple of years ago almost new (it had about 50 rounds through it) and have since thrown about 250-300 rounds down range. Never a hiccup. I had the slide milled to fit a Delta Point Pro (true DPP, NOT one of...
I have a DPP on a 2.0 .40. I love it. I also have a SIG R1P on my SIG P320 X Compact. Once you get used to a red dot, it's much easier to pick up a target and stay on target for your next shot.
I'd like to change the caliber on my M&P 2.0 Compact .40 cal to 9mm as that's the caliber of everything else I own. I could have sworn I had a link to a barrel swap about a year ago but can't find it.
Can it be done with a simple barrel swap? Mag swap, too? If so, how about a link to...
I feel it's my constipational right to carry any way I choose. With that being said, everything I carry remains in Condition 1 and I don't own anything with a thumb safety. I dry train constantly, I'm at the range at least once/week. If I need to draw my weapon in a self defense situation (or to...
I've got a SIG P320 with a factory milled slide and a SIG Romeo 1 Pro and just had the slide milled on my M&P 2.0 .40 for my DPP (original model with the actual "delta point"). I shoot very accurately with both. When I first got the S&W, I tried the universal Outerlimits dovetail plate. It...
I have the same pistol. I sent my stock slide out to be milled and Ceracoted. I think I paid under $200. Looks stock and fits my DPP perfectly. It also puts the optics a bit closer to the barrel.
As someone who's owned a number of SIG P320s (and still have 1), I have to say the thought of an M&P modular pistol is a great idea. I swapped out a trigger on one of my previous SIGs in about 10 minutes. It took me an hour on my M&P and I had to use a vise and a 2nd trigger.
My current SIG is...
My SIGs didn't come with manual safties and I didn't add them. My M&P40 M2.0 came with a manual safety and I removed it when I installed the APEX trigger. I've been around guns Ipistols and otherwise) for most of my life (I'm in my mid 50s). I know how to handle a pistol (always index your...
