Well said S&W Rover! in my experience: FTEs are usually caused by build up at the extracter (a lil lube at the pin helps too) FTF/light strikes are usually caused by build up in the striker channel (i tend to find a lot of brass bits in here)

I carried my SD40 in a clamshell kydex holster, not dissimilar to the Rawdog, for a couple of months before I went with the Alien Gear. Since then I might have used the kydex twice. The Cloak Tuck is great once you have it fitted to your likeness.
