Not sure if this is an affirmative source, but if you look in the Q&A section on the Vortex website. There are several mentions of the S&W C.O.R.E. being compatible with the Vortex Venom red dot. I just got my C.O.R.E. a few days ago and I am ordering up a Vortex Venom. I'll let ya know how...
