    S&W Model 19 announcement

Regardless of all these comments....I relish the fine workmanship and quality of my older 19 (and look alike 17). We must understand that the new (improved?)versions are the result of company demands for lower costs in production, material and possibly quality control. Here's to more talk and...

    Shooting 52-2

The loads you have been given (2,7BE and 148 HBWC) are the only loads that should be used. Those and the 52 are inseparable for good shooting. If you find the recoil excessive then get used to it. You might want a set of fitted Herrett grips to feel more comfortable.....could help. You're...

    Dry fire S&W 41

Dry firing...... I posted this a while back: Cock an unloaded 41. Pull the slide back 1/8th inn and slip a narrow piece of paper in to cover the breach face. Release the slide. Now pull the trigger! Retract the slide, remove the paper, note if there is any piercing mark left by the firing...

    Remington 722B

I just bought a Rem model 722B in 222Rem, SN 339XXX with beautiful AAA checkered wood, jeweled bolt, machined trigger guard & hinged floor plate and Rust-Blued metal work. I think it came out of the custom shop in 1953(as stamp code). Can anyone give more information for what I have? Thank you! Ted

    Remington .38 Wadcutters

10 years ago I purchased a used Lyman DE 4cavity mold and casted thousands. I used them in my M52 and K19. Lubed them in Lyman lubricator and never had a problem with accuracy. Used 2.8GR BE.

    S&W 52-2

about the 52-1 Let's not forget that the 52-1 had a long extractor with a possibility of breakage. This was blamed on hotter loads(?). These extractors are NO LONGER AVAILABLE. I believe that the standard recommended load 2.8 BE/148HBWC was and is the safety factor in preventing extractor...

    Rem 700 trigger

60 MINUTES/CBS A Remington problem reported.....really? All those guns were fully loaded IN THEIR HOUSES! and being handled badly. Poor yellow journalism in my opinion! Not believable!

    Beretta Model 1934 380ACP

My Beretta Model 1934 Just to fill in the story.....I was given this piece 35 yrs ago. It was inoperable with no firing pin or spring and a peened muzzle. It was a bring-back and eventually some A-H did it bad. I machined and heat treated a new pin and used an old spring. I repaired the...

    Beretta Model 1934 380ACP

What do you think of this gun as a concealed weapon? Fully loaded, cocked and safety "ON"?

    Anyone watching Tony Bennett? NBC

Am I mistaken? Was he not the singer who wouldn't sing the National Anthem because it was (in his opinion) a war song?

M41 Performance Centre, QC issues ?

Army ignores S&W...... In today's news.....S&W was NOT asked by the US military to submit design for a new sidearm. Those that were selected were all foreign arms concerns. Quality being questioned?
