    Gas tube roll pin problems

UPDATE: I used the roll pin from the A2. Its not as long but it fit better into the tube. Its not Loose or anything so I dont think I need to worry about the tube slipping out of place. It covers one side. If this was a big mistake that can result in my gun blowing up or something I would love...

    Gas tube roll pin problems

After hours of hard work i finally got the taper pins out of my a2 front sight for my project AR. The new gas block fits like a glove, and just when i thought the tough part was over I came to the part where you put the roll pin in that holds the gas tube in place. I have been at it for over an...

    New stripped upper.

I have a M&P 15 that has been a project gun for me. I am looking at getting a new stripped upper for it with a forward assist and dust cover. Should most stripped uppers fit together nicely with the lower? If not what's the best way to see if it will? I would preferably like to get a SAA...

Gas block/flip up front sight M&P 15 Sport?

I would go with a gas block that has a rail, and then magpul mbus folding sights. I'm actually in the process of removing my front sight so I can put a gas block on. I am just waiting for my taper pin punch and a sight removal block from Brownells. They are kind of a must if you want to start...

    Cleaning an M&P 15 Sport...

It is the same as cleaning any standard AR. Make sure bolt and trigger are "moist" with oil. You don't want it wet, this will create a carbon, oil, lead pudding that will just do more harm than good. But as you would imagine running the gun dry isn't good either. I would HIGHLY recommend Frog...

    Very cool new trigger

I threw a Spikes Tactical nickle boron battle trigger into my M&P 15. I love the thing. It's way better than the factory trigger (not like that is saying much.) I refer the factory trigger feel to as dragging a wood stick on gravel. This trigger was not only a great value, it is a great trigger...

Why do so many people talk down on Smith & Wesson M&P AR's for ?

A lot of people talk this gun down because of the fact that the sport model doesn't have a forward assist or a dust cover. If you are shooting out in Nevada, Arizona or any other area with desert. Dust covers are nice. But for the most part you don't need one. Forward assists are good for...
