    WTB - Remington Model 81

Hopefully a forum member has one not being used and wants some cash for another firearm. If you have an 81 in either .35 Remington or .300 Savage with the original sights and no aftermarket sight mounting holes.... I'd like to hear from you. thanks, Jerry Williams

    Third Generation Semi-Automatics

Bring back 3rd gen 1006 with a doublestack mag. The pistol is big enough for it.

    M&P 10mm.

I want a double stack S&W 10mm. The 1006 gets most of the range time and needs a brother. Please S&W - make a 10mm double stack semi auto. I'll be the first to buy it!

    10mm double stack

There's only two things wrong with my 1006. Having a lifetime's worth of SA auto experience, I don't need that SA/DA/decocker setup. And I want a double stack. If it were only true that 250 S&W pistoleros could get a stainless double stack 1006 made, I would hound the members of my club to...

    WTB Remington Model 81

Hope springs eternal as they say. Someone has a model 81 with no aftermarket sights that is just gathering dust in their closet. Condition of bore is paramount, finish wear is secondary. A well cared for example is what I am hoping for, not a collectable safe queen. Thanks, Jerry Williams

    No more tumbling de-capped cases

I have a turret and single stage presses. I always use a tool to clean every primer pocket, rifle or pistol. I also give each brass a solid whack on the bench (base up), just before adding powder. Sometimes there's a surprise little pile of crap. Not often, but it's an easy step and who...

    Here's hoping! 4506-1, Remington Model 81

I'd really like to have a 4506-1 to match my 1006. Always been a 1911 guy but the 1006 makes me think that the 4506 would beat a 1911 for my use...(did I really say that?) And I always hope to get another Remington Model 81 in 300 Sav. to replace the one that I sold when I was young and...

    Motor Oil?????

Smokester, I use non detergent motor oil to lube AND protect all my blued firearms. So do a lot of collectors of valuable antique firearms. Yes, an oiled exterior will gather dust in a dirty environment but we all keep our firearms in clean environments, don't we? Somehow, firearms were...

    10 mm advice please

10mm Advisors, Thanks! And I Got One! Yesterday I picked up a 1006 at a local show. Looked all morning and finally found one, dirty but prolly very little use. $500 with one mag. Two hours of careful cleaning and it's a beauty <grin>. Still more advice requested and thanks for all your...

    10 mm advice please

All my smiths are wheelguns and I now want a 10mm semi auto. I prefer a full size and all steel model. No DAO, so my choices are the 1006 and 1026, correct? Have no idea what a realistic price is on these. Nobody at my gun club has one, so would appreciate some first hand knowledge. Strong...

    WTB: Model 19

Hi, very much want to buy a Model 19, 4" that has been "carried a lot but shot not much" for further carry duty. If you have one that is just sitting in the safe, please contact. Thanks, Jerry Williams

Price Drop-Springfield Armory Model 1903 – Sporterized (AL)

Just for info. The rifle is what is called a "low number Springfield." Most experts would say that it is a wall hanger and should not be fired. They had receiver heat treatment problems and some would blow up. Low power loads >should be OK< but who knows?

    WTB - Remington Model 81

Here's hoping. Does anyone have a Remington Model 81 in .300 Savage? It was my first rifle and I traded it in a moment of youthful stupidity... I don't mind normal wear and tear if the bore is in good shape. Would prefer no aftermarket sights or scope mount holes. If you have one not being...
