    Other than the chance of cracking the frame ( if not already cracked) some other differences are present. The cylinder of the Model 12 is LONGER THAN THAT OF A MODEL 10! Model 12 cylinder is same length as that of a Model 19. Save your money!

    Update FIXED! Just frustrated over a broken firing pin

    In over 40 year as a gunsmith specializing in NYC PD repairs I changed out hundreds of firing pins that were broken. The majority were on 'off duty' revolvers.

    see your local friendly watch repair person. The spring from a large size 'springbar' will fit.
