Hmmmmm........My Registered Magnum #220 has a hold open detent. And, it was made in 1935.

Here is mine that was given to me by my Grandfather.

The first Winchester .38 Special +P 110 grain ammo that the CHP received for the Model 68s was marked "Hollow Point". Even that upset the powers that be. So, after that the boxes read "Controlled Expansion". Same ammo!

I'll take it.

Mine still has CHP because it was purchased by the officer that it was issued to and they had the option to buy them.
