It amazes me that the blued version (36-6) 3" target is more expensive than the same gun in stainless (60-4), and the earlier 2" CST model 60 Ashlands (at 666 produced). All the 36-6s I've come across were priced way higher than the stainless version. Makes no sense to me! ;)

I have spruced up stainless finishes (scratches) with 280 grit emery boards. It sounds harsh, but it leaves a finish that you cannot tell if original or not. I have not done an entire gun though.

One thing I do know is that model 12s have horrible resale value!

I don't see a 29-2 6"

It may just be the lighting. Best way to be sure is to dial caliper it (measure width of barrel at different points).

Looks normal to me.
