31-1 mid to late 70s

A 31-1 in nickel which I got around 1981 for services in kind of about $150.

Been lusting for a Bul Armory 1911. They’re like hens teeth.

So perhaps I was suspicious for no reason it seems. It’s just that the blue seemed too deep, especially the cylinder. Thanks guys!

I will get some close ups later this evening. I suspect that it has been reblued ‘cause it’s just too dern purdy. Plus it looks a bit thick if that makes any sense. Be back later.

I got this Masterpiece 14 about 10 years ago and suspect that it has been reblued. What are the telltale signs that it has been? TIA.

Greetings all. I would like to know if a 14-3 with a serial # 1K304xx was in fact made in 1970. It has what seem to be correct stocks , but they are stamped “1983”. There is no serial number on them as there is on my 31-1. TIA.
