S & W 5.7 Slide Problems
***ANSWER*** First and MOST important... when disassembling, do NOT pull the trigger. Some firearms may need this to release the slide, this will CAUSE the above issue in the S&W M&P 5.7mm. Follow the above recommemdations on slide removal but IF you get it stuck, look at the images I have...- Trogbad

S & W 5.7 Slide Problems
Did you ever figure out how to get it UN stuck?! Same thing has happened to me when trying to take the slide off but it is stuck stuck and I dont want to force it for obvious reasons. Problem is, it wont go forward OR backwards so I can't do the trick some people have posted.- Trogbad
