I never encountered any OAL problems with my 52. Seated the factory Remington hollow base wadcutters flush, 2.7 gr. Bullsye and applied a light crimp. Never had a malfunction.

In my 16-4 I only used the 32 H&R Magnum brass which you can reload using the same 32 S&W dies. With 100 gr. lead bullets 2.2-2.4 gr. Bullsye gave me 644-789 fps. With the old Lyman #3118, 115 gr. lead bullet, 2.6-2.8 gr. Bulllseye gave me 826-889 fps.

For many years I used SR-4759 in reduced velocity loads both with lead and jacketed bullets. XMP-5744 is also quite good. Many shooters now prefer touse Trail Boss which has the advantage of filling the case up and minimizing double charges.

Many years ago when the NRA used to publish load data which was not a rehash of manufacturers data the mild target load in 44 Special was a 185 gr. lead wadcutter cast bullet, 4.5 gr. Bullseye for 850 fps.

What was the factory riginal grip or the Model 610-3, the 4 inch barreled 10mm revolver?

I have used it for years, as my favorite 25 yd bullseye pistol load is 3.8 gr. HS=-700X, Rem 2.5 and 185 gr. Star LSWCHP bullet for ca 720 fps with a single digit SD. A very mild and accurate load in all my guns.

I carried a Block 36 which I purchased shortly after they were available. At that time it was the only smal 45 ACP carry pistol available. Now one has similar offereing from Springfield and Kahr. Recently I opted for pocket carry of a Kahr PM9.

Eley and Lapua manufacture some expensive premium 22 ammo. SKJagd ammo is not as pricey and does not enjoy the same reputation.

I have had excellent results on Gunbroker. Local gunshops would be a real hit or miss proposition especially for the Registered Magnum.

You will enjoy using the 52. I used 2.8 gr. It has the finest trigger ever placed into a production semi auto handgun. I used 2.8 gr. of Bullseye behind the 148 gr. Remington LHBWC seated flush with a very slight crimp. I had the 52-1 and purchsed extra extractors from Numrich they were listed...

I shoot both an Glock-17 and M&P 9mm Pro in the usual pistol games. No significant difference in accuracy. Prefer the ergonomics of the M&P but need to shoot in some only Glock matches.
