I do know that the Yeti coolers hold ice for several days. But in my entire life, I have only needed a cooler to use for several days a handful of times and then I was able to spend $2 for a new bag of ice when needed. Those coolers cost me about $30. I can buy lots of extra bags of ice before...

Thanks for the pic and explanation. I put about 120 rounds through my new Shield 45 last week and had no problems. Was wondering if it would pop up, but your explanation shows that my gun came with the new followers.

It can be a pain. Like Jeppo said, make sure to pull the barrel forward. Also make sure to get the takedown lever seated flush when you're done. The first time I did mine I got it back in but didn't click it in all the way. It didn't look right, because it stuck out a little, but seemed to...

I have a 5903 (same gun but with aluminum alloy frame.) that I bought in 1992. My mags are 15 rounds, which fits both models. Why the difference?

Serious question. As I'm new here, I'm not trying to stir the pot. If Mag Guts can turn the same 6 round magazine into 7 rounds and 7 into 8, why doesn't S&W make them those capacities to begin with?

I want a 9 round mag for my Shield 9. But from the OP, it sounds like they're ****. ;)

After purchasing my 6th S&W handgun, (not counting 3 I sold when I was younger), I thought it was time to join this forum. And thanks to this forum, I was able to figure out how to put the Shield 45 seven round magazine back together!
