Its probably wear. I believe the gun is 1958. I also found the safety spring plate broken which also holds the slide stop/ejector tight to the frame. This will likely fix the issue but wanted to get educated on the ejector styles as well.
Hey guys,
I'm in need of some pics to compare my M41 slide stop/ejector. I'm having ejection issues and I've read here that there are different length ejector cuts. This is for .22LR. The pictures on Brownell's show a much longer ejector than what I have.
Thanks
Does anyone have any leads to where I might be able to pick up a couple SW380 mags? I believe it’s a Sigma although that is not stamped on the gun anywhere. The serial # RAH9680
Thanks
My brother in law has a 659 with a similar issue. The safety doesn't usually drop the hammer unless its pushed very hard and sometimes not at all. If I squeeze down on the frame the hammer falls. He is the original owner, very low round count and no work has been done on it. Whats the fix for this?
I understand clamping down on the barrel but what do you mean by adding support below the grip? if the barrel is positioned high enough to knock the sight out the grip would be below the clamping surface of the vise.
It already had a Dawson sight on in that was .200 x .125. It was shooting 4" high at 10 yards with the rear sight centered in its range of adjustment. Dawson has a sight calculator and based on that I ordered the .245 x.100
