I like the holster. Just a comment though...I would think you'd want the retention strap to go between the hammer and the back of the slide, not over the back strap, where it defeats the grip safety. Will the strap fit that way?

Thanks for the quick replies. Collects, the smooth stocks do have the S&W medallions and appear to be as old as the gun. Do you know whether S&W sold smooth stocks at one time and how unusual they might be? (I've never seen any myself.)
