Scandium J frame Gas Ring question

Thanks for the reply..Pics below..maybe it broke loose from the PSYCHO loads I shoot in it. Buffalo Bore, etc..This firearm has been amazing the punishment it has taken for a 12oz .357. Just some loose screws (and ejector rod) that are loc-tited back on. Any info on the gas ring issue is much...

Is this normal? The gun works great, I am just wondering about this loose part that the others don't...

    629 4" Mountian Gun Unfluted 4" Magna-Port Rare?!?!

629-4 Recoil is like a puppy dog. But I shoot 12oz .357 and 25oz 44mags with full power loads. Scandiums. I like this gun however, it is 42oz I think. Do you know any of the history? The Serial # begins with CAP. It is not marked Mountian Gun on the side just 44 MAGNUM. Thanks, Uvaldi.:D

    629 4" Mountian Gun Unfluted 4" Magna-Port Rare?!?!

:confused:Hello, I have a factory 629 Mountian Gun with tapered 4" barrel. Stainless. The difference from all the rest is that it came from the factory w/ unfluted cylinder and Magna-Porting. Does everyone else have one or know the history? Serial number begins with CAP. Thank you, Uvaldi.
