    Mine seems to pretty much eat anything I have given it. I have used FMJ, HP, JHP from Winchester, Ficocchi, PMC, Remmington, etc. I hope this helps. God Bless :)

    how many clips does the bd380 comes with

    I have seen it where sometimes to make the gun more attractive and sell it at a lower price, some dealers will remove one of the magazines. I can't remember how many came with mine as I now have 6 magazines total :p I hope this helps. God Bless :)

    Goffman that is exaclty what happened to mine. The same size piece too. Mine was also a very early EAA10xx serial number. I had fired mine approx. 450 times and probably did about 2500+ dry firing with snap caps before that happened. I glad that yours came back fine and that you are enjoying it...

    Unfortunetly I too had to send mine back to S&W but for a totally different reason from everyone else. I was dry-firing mine with snap caps and on one of my dry fire sessions, small piece of metal came off. From troubleshooting it, it looks to be the back of the firing pin where the hammer hits...

    I went to a local gun show today and looked at all of the BG380's that were on display. The highest serial number I saw today was EAA98xx, so I am guessing that there is at least 10,000 of the BG380 out there possibly more. I hope this helps. God Bless :)

    Ok today just shot 100 rounds of FMJ so I am at about 450 problem free rounds though my BG380. Also while shooting mine today I kept an eye on the take down lever to see if it was moving and it was not, so far it seems to be in there pretty well. God Bless :)

    I have been dry firing mine with snap caps and stopped counting at 1000 about a week ago. Last night I dry fired it again with snap caps approx. 250 pulls. The trigger pull seems to be smoother and easier than when it was new or either that my trigger finger is getting stronger with bigger...
