New Big Dog Grips for my CS40

Here is BigDog's thread in the Sales forum, should have the info you need there. http://smith-wessonforum.com/e...200103904/m/27110479 I have a set for my CS40 and they are great.

    Never wear a belt....holster recommendations?

yeah, those of us with bellies know you just got to have a belt, I assume if you don't usually wear one you are one of those skinny guys I got a 511 TDU belt which is their thinner basic nylon belt and it is great and only $10. You might need something stouter for your training class but I...

    S&W CS9 or Colt Pocket 9?

CS9 or even better CS40 (if you can find one) and yeah, you want the BigDog grips for sure so factor in that.

    IWB holsters

You will always be cooler when wearing a t-shirt vs not, (not to mention looking much sharper) it just takes getting used to it, but once you do you will never go back.

    cross breed holsters, kydex question

I have had a couple CrossBreed QuickClips (I don't need the double clipped SuperTuck) and they are great, really comfortable and great concealment. My current is for my CS40 and you forget you have it on. I don't think wear from the Kydex side will be much of an issue, I'd bet there will be more...

    Kel-tec vs. LCP 380's

I just got an ElsiePea the other day as a summer carry anywhere, or a BUG for my CS40. Love it, I think the quality is better than the KT but that's based on fit and finish as much as anything. I was actually looking for a KT PF9 but really hard to get here, got one sold out from under me, but...

    Kel-tec vs. LCP 380's

North American Arms Guardian seems a good option in this class too, though a bit harder to come by it seems. Ive been looking into these but think I would rather go with one of the smaller 9x19's. The Kahr PM9 is sweet if a little pricey. Wish Smith or Ruger would do something comparable. The...

    cs9 versus cw9

If I were going to consider the Kahr I would go with the KP9 (labeled as just P9) vs the CW9. They are virtually the same gun but the KP's are a lot nicer, one of the main differences being replaceable front sight vs not (so if you ever want a night sight....). The KP's are a bit more expensive...

My CS40 with my new Big Dog Grips!!

Got my grips today and they installed easy enough, look and feel great. They really take a lot of bulk out of the gun. Thanks "G" and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Dad. *note my CrossBreed QuickClip holster in the last pic

    ILL CCW Permit

Yes I am aware that the bill's were separate, I was trying to make the point that the bill requiring the insurance should have all IL citizens having a fit and the rest of us very leery. I guess maybe I should post in the 2nd Amendment/politics forum instead of here. To me this is a huge issue...

    ILL CCW Permit

Seems that CCW legislation is the least of IL worries, the legislation requiring a million dollar insurance policy for all "gun ownership card holders" (a joke in itself) is really scary. This could give way too many lawmakers really bad ideas. This is the type of stuff to watch as that's how...

CC with shirt tucked in.....any suggestions?

I also have a CrossBreed but the QuickClip model and it's great IMO. I have a bit of a belly so tucking and getting everything situated is a bit more difficult than it is for a more svelte individual. Once I do though the holster is just fine, concealment and accessibility are both good...

    Best pants and shorts

LA Police Gear, has a new model of 511 Tactical pants and shorts coming out this spring called Covert Tactical "Tactical with out the look". I obviously haven't tried them yet but have been interested in the regular 511 pants but as has been mentioned in this thread, don't want to look too...
