    A fix is in for the S&W AR-10 barrels

    +1 On the bright side, it's nice to know people are out there working on a barrel for this in case I ever do anything like leaving something inside my barrel when I try to force a bullet down the same path. :p

    IIRC, lots of guys had issues replacing with MOE. A delta ring(?) tool is recommended, in order to put enough pressure on the spring to get the Magpul kit installed.

    I am not a lawyer, but I thought the saying went: Once a rifle, always a rifle. Also, it's not like your barrel got stale like a cookie and just split. There are probably other issues as well due to whatever caused your barrel to split. Did you send it in to S&W?

    You're correct there, I suppose. Next time I wrap my Ford Edge around a tree, I'll be sure and bash Ford on a Ford forum for the fact that they won't replace my vehicle. Sure, I replaced the stereo, but I can't figure out why they won't at least sell me an engine and body and steering column...
