    Model 1913

I forgot to ask this question. Is it safe to use .32 ACP in this .35 S&W ACP pistol??? I tried to cycle snap caps and they don't feed correctly. I have read that it IS OK to do this but I want to be safe. Any thoughts???

    Model 1913

Just bought this beautiful Model 1913. SN 24XX and in outstanding condition. According to a Roy Jinx book this is a Type 1 made between late 1913 or early 1914. I just posted this because of their rarity.

    Model 14 Single Action Only

S&W Letter I got the S&W letter but it did not state that my revolver was modified at the factory. I know there was a kit you could buy to modify a model 14 making it SAO. Shouldn't the letter make this statement?

    S&W Model 1905 32-20 WCF

Found this refinished k frame .32-20 from around 1914. 3rd change Model 1905. Curious markings on the barrel flat that I cannot read. Hoping somebody has some ideas what they are. There is also a "B" in front of the serial number. I apologize for the poor quality pics. The stamp was not complete.

    Model 14 Single Action Only

Just found this Model 14-3 Target Masterpiece Single Action Only. Manufactured in 1974. I just requested a factory letter to verify that it left the factory this way. It is in remarkable condition. I bought it from the last owner who kept it in a safe. I know these are very hard to find. In...

    38 HE M&P Model 1899

I researched this topic in this forum. Entries as far back as 2015 state that during the production of the 1899 hand ejector, many had either no caliber markings, the 1 liner simply saying "38 S&W Special CTG", or the 2 line stated above. The 1 liner started in 1901. When the 1902 hand ejector...

    38 HE M&P Model 1899

Note the legend on the barrel. I assume this is just another variation. I've seen the 2 liner ".38 S&W Special CTG" with "US Service CTG" on others from this time period. Funny how S&W didn't want to put "Colt" on their revolvers.

    38 HE M&P Model 1899

I found the problem with the crane. The ball bearing under the crane is wedged tight and clogged with dirt. I cleaned it out the best I could but I think it has been plugged too long and the spring may be compressed. I was able to confirm all serial numbers match.

    38 HE M&P Model 1899

Just got my hands on a Model 1899 M&P. Been looking for one for years now. Serial number 9893 puts it shipping in 1901. Got info from a forum posting on another 1899. For it's age it is in very good shape. Only damage is on the right grip. Action is clean and locks up as tight as the design will...

New Victory Aquisition Just picked up this British Service Revolver. Beautiful condition, great action. Check the pics. There is a second Smith & Wesson stamp on the barrel, albeit upside down??? The barrel shows the correct serial number. Also would like to know the manufacture/shipping date...

USAC Stamp In reference to Grendelbean's post, I have a Colt Commando with the same USAC marking. I never got a very good explanation about the stamp from the Colt Forum.
