    Is this normal leading?

I think it's time I contact Smith & Wesson and see what they can do. Thanks for the help everyone.

    Is this normal leading?

Well... I'm starting to think it's a gun problem. I went out last night and shot 5 rounds using Missouri 158 SWC with a brinell rating of 18 and 3.3 Titegroup (instead of the softer Zero swagged bullets) and every shot gave me lead on the outside of the cylinder. I shoot these same bullets in...

    Is this normal leading?

I have a model 14 that I wanted to shoot 158gr bullets in. The pistol I have was a safe queen and these are the first shots through it as far as I can tell. I loaded up three groups of 10 rounds each. First 10 rounds were Zero 158 gr LRN with 3.6 Titegroup. After I shot those I brought the...

    Model 52 jams *Solved*

    Model 52 jams *Solved*

I should have mentioned earlier that I have a frame mount base for the scope. Nothing touches the slide. I did tighten the bushing up as much as I could. I will check that tomorrow, and test again. Thanks everyone for the help so far.

    Model 52 jams *Solved*

I just went out and tried 3.1 bullseye. I shot 10 rounds with no problems then came in an loaded another 10. The second round failed to chamber. I now see they're getting hung up where the rim of the case would stop. Here's the pictures of the jam.

    Model 52 jams *Solved*

I tried 2.7, 2.8 and 2.9 charge. I didn't shoot the pistol before I mounted the scope, and this is my first 52.

    Model 52 jams *Solved*

Jams = Failure to feed next round. The problem happens with either magazines (metal followers) Seems like one out of ten will not feed, no particular round. Could be the second or the last. The case mouth hits high instead of going into the chamber.

    Model 52 jams *Solved*

I recently purchase a model 52-2 that looks like it's never been fired. I attached a frame mount and a Ultradot scope and I'm trying to get ready for shooting Bullseye matches. The pistol came with two magazines that show no bluing wear. The pistol jams about 10 percent of the time. My load...
