re;grips I agree with handejector,these have the same rebate and round to square effect as those on my prewar RP but the top of the grip is different.Having said that,I cant recall every having seen a postwar gun with the rebated backstrap. Wayne

Great Stuff Bob and all the other posters; I am reminded often,on the forum,of why these old Smiths interest me.It is way beyond the guns themselves. As to the engraving,grips,etc..all of my cap pistols were of that style(W&K toys?)so I was prepared to appreciate these old guns early on. Wayne
