    32 HE Prices Increasing?

    I call it I-frame infection.....or maybe infestation? 32s, 38 S&Ws, HEs, RPs and Terriers.

    What .357 K-Frames were available w/ 2" Barrels?

It might be really hard to clear a .357 cylinder with a short ejector rod. The 3" guns have a full length rod.

    Got Out Bid

The .45 HE of 2001 is worth only a fraction of the .45 Colt chambered 25-2, Early 25, Pre 25 and Pre 26 guns, or any other S&W in .45 Colt made before the 125th anniversary model 25-3. As far as I know. Here is a pic of my 25-10, .45 Colt.

    Got Out Bid

rmax, I think you did well on that gun. If it had been at one of the auctions in Texas, where I could have seen it and handled it, I probably would have put in a bid over 3k. Plus I love those no cutout target stocks.

    Got Out Bid

Retired W4, I like those .45 Targets like you do. My first S&W is a 25-2 that I got ANIB at a show in 1977. In the last year, I've got a Pre 26 at auction, and a Pre 25 on our forum. I also have a PC 25-10 Hand Ejector in .45 Colt.

    Got Out Bid

I know how you feel, since I was the one you outbid at 2250. I weighed raising my bid, but, decided to let it go, since that price realized would be around 3250, plus tax shipping, insurance, supplies and transfer. That's OK, I won a real nice Victory for less than 800.

    New avatar for Lee?

We've been through this before. It didn't end well, until he went back to the one he used before and now. It's like all the monkeys lost their fear. That's not good. All hail the great Silverback! (Now all make cheetah noises.)

New to me 38/44 She's home! ** updated photos added**

Honestly, if I didn't know it was there, I couldn't tell the difference. A very knowledgeable friend of mine, looked at it and he believed it came with the W.

That's a sweet old OD, but then all of them that are still shooting and still look nice are sweet. I have one, too, that I got from a forum member, and it has a W mainspring. Here's a pic of it, along with it's pre-war brother.

    Model 25

My first S&W is a Model 25-2. That was about 47 years ago. I've shot mine a good bit over that time, but I've never cared to mess with the clips. I just load the .45acp rounds, pull the empties out with my fingernail or push them out with a pencil or dowel. You did good.

A home defense trio for $1,000.00?

I got an Atwood's flyer from Sunday and it has Ruger Security 9s for less than $300. It's a toad, but it probably works. S&W SDs, some Taurus and Kel-Tecs are just a few of affordable pistol options out there.

    1949 Heavy Duty .38/44 Letter

It has the old style hammer and 4 line address frame. That says transitional, to me. I have one like it.
