360PD Talk me into it & 11.4oz or 12 oz?

I have a 340pd and it kicked really bad with the stock grips. I put on a set of Crimson Trace Laser grips and the extra length around my little finger made all the difference in the world. It is a really nice 38 +p carry gun but still kicks too much with hot 357 loads. W. Hatter

    S&W 500 grips on a 329pd

I just installed a set of S&W 500 rubber grips on a 320pd and there is a gap between the grips and the trigger of about 1/8 inch. Is this correct? Thanks, W. Hatter

    329pd grips

return to the factory My 329 made a trip back to the factory to repair failures to fire. They replaced the firing pin and I haven't had any problems since. Hopefully it will stay 100% reliable. W. Hatter

    329pd grips

Rubber Grips Mine came with both wood and rubber grips. The rubber grips dampen the recoil a little better than the wooden ones. I understand from reading this forum that the S&W 500 grips make the pistol considerably more manageable. I plan to get a set and see if they work. Thanks for all...

    329pd grips

I have a 329pd with the stock rubber grips installed. The thing is brutal to shoot with 44 mag ammo. I understand that the S&W 500 rubber grips will fit the 329 and tame the recoil. Does anybody know the exact part number of the oversize grips? I would like to order a set from the S&W...

    329pd

Finally got the Fedex label from S&W today, it took 3 weeks and 6 days. I took the pistol straight to Fedex and it is on the way to S&W. Now lets see how long they take to repair it. Hopefully just a couple of weeks. I hear that they are pretty good about turning repairs around.

    LaserMax or Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace I have a 340pd in 357 mag. The thing kicked unbelievably bad with the stock grip. I installed a set of Crimson Trace laser grips and the pistol became manageable. That extra little bit of grip allows your pinky finger to have something to hang on to. It is like having a...

    329pd

I really haven't meant to trash the 329pd, it is a great pistol. I just hope it is reliable when it finally gets fixed. However I am becoming increasing frustrated with S&W service. I have owned several S&W pistols in various calibers. I believe S&W makes good revolvers. Maybe the scandium...

    329pd

629pd Since the pistol is under warranty, I am going to give S&W the first shot at fixing my problem. If they drop the ball, I will install a longer firing pin myself. It would probably be easier and cheaper to just install a new firing pin, however I suspect S&W would use that as an excuse...

    329pd

Thanks for the information. Talked to S&W service about an hour ago and they assured me the Fedex mailer should be here this week. Understand it has been three weeks and three phone calls as of today. Hopefully they will fix the problem. The last time I shot a hog with my Sig 45 he just...

    329pd

I hunt in South Texas. Because we have a power transmission line running through our lease, we have a lot of wetbacks and drug mules passing through our hunting area. So far we haven't had a confrontation, knock on wood. The Border Patrol warned us that that a small percentage of these people...

    329pd

Thanks for the help Today makes 2 weeks and 3 days and still no shipping information from S&W. If I don't hear something soon I will order a firing pin and fix it myself. Thanks for the posts, now I have a better idea of what might be wrong and how to fix it. These forums provide S&W fans a...

    329pd

I have a brand new 329pd. After a box and a half of ammo the thing fails to fire due to shallow primer strikes. I called S&W to get a return mailer over 2 weeks ago, still have not received it. Anybody else have this problem with a 329pd? I have looked at several web sites and this seems to...
