    Purchasing from Guns.com

They have been my main go-to along with gunbroker. I’ll usually buy best price if available and guns is sometimes the best. I bought a “used” 66-8 and it turned out to be a like new gun show demo.

Snub nose revolver for self defense 9mm or 38sp

As others have said add a 32 to your consideration for the extra round. If you’re considering reloading; brass will last, primers are all spp, powder should be similar enough in cost/quantity, and bullets may have an edge in 9mm (by popularity) or 32 (by weight) but don’t imagine any bullet...

    9mm Snub-nose

Taurus can clean up nicely and have great triggers. Only thing I don’t like is their transfer bar and lack of rebound slide. Just because they seem to rattle. They are really putting out a good catalog though, S&w should take notes.

Common courtesy not so common these days.

True, however context could help you/us see where they are coming from and why. Maybe you sat your kids down and threatened punishment or guilt tripping until all their thank you’s were sent? It could’ve been enough that they didn’t repeat the practice with their kids. Do you communicate well...

For those age 60 or under (Gen X or later generations…)

Most of what I have goes to my spawn under 5 at this point. I have just enough in the budget for ammo components (100 rounds a week) and modest reloading setup. Would love to add a threaded lever action (so not older), and a few handfuls of revolvers new/old/projects.

    Seecamp 32

The NAA Guardian is a great alternative to the Seecamp. Sold my NAA for a S&W bg380, but now thinking of eliminating 380acp from my stock in favor of more 38sp. I can push a j-frame twice as far as any 380 I’ve tried.

    22 Victory , Worth Buying?

I have shot easily 10k+ through mine. Whenever I get something new to me I break it down and clean up, polish, and lube to my standards. So I don’t know how it would’ve ran out of the box but it has ran reasonably since day one. To me reasonably means that it feeds and fires but has its...

Let's talk J frame pocket holsters

Making your own isn’t too tough or expensive and can be fitted to your pocket and taste. Amazon leather/rivets, harbor freight stitching awl, box cutter, and some barge cement is all I found I needed.

Just curious if anyone here who partcipated in the spare magazine thread has rethought it after LA riots.

You and people who act like you ignoring me would be a plus for me as well if this is how you contribute.

I’m capable of being very wrong and wouldn’t mind in this instance. I was just looking for a place to talk about j-frames, hobby gunsmithing, and maybe see if anyone is ahead of me with paper jacketed bullets (finished Paul M.’s book recently). I’ve not been here very long but am not on any...

Obviously not who you’re commenting to… It’s hard to see any value in financially contributing to a forum that regularly promotes a certain brand of politics and religion while censoring and deleting comments that disagree with that narrative. I’ve had a few instances already and wouldn’t lose...

It could also be that not everyone who has firearms is right leaning or maga/clan? I’m not concerned with anyone’s take on my political views, especially those who can’t have constructive conversations or are hive minded conformist within a given community.

Who’s doing that? You seem to be reading what you want to read if that’s what you’re taking from it.
