We'll see. I got the email today about the Standard CCI. It was phrased as "this is similar to something you've had backordered for along time" (Jan 20, 2013 in my case). Of course, it also had the claim that "we don't keep backorders beyond 1 year." Curious to see what I get next...

I ordered 8,000 rounds on a lark, a year ago in January (3333 bucket and 5000 CCI). At the time, estimated arrival was July and November iirc. Never actually expected to get them, and have found Winchester ammo cans at Dick's since then. I'm certainly not going to blame Midway for canceling...

Any updates? This thread has been kinda quiet. My orders are still listed, and I've gotten the "your credit card will expire soon" emails.

3333 Winchester and 5000 CCI Minimags ordered on 1/20. Still listed as backordered. Getting closer since a 12/12 order shipped. Got a FB post about the "great Dick's ammo-fest" and managed to get two 2,000 round boxes of M22 before they ran out. Finally get to try it in my 15-22 tomorrow.

So I see where S&W are now making a model -15 of the with the same nitrided, 5R, 1/8 barrel as the Sport, but in a middy... Anybody know if they'd sell the barrel by itself? Or maybe a complete upper? I kinda like the 5R and 1/8 twist. A 16" Mid-length might be an option to try instead of an...
