Looking for a snubby model 60 to throw in my truck, backpack on hunting trips and not really care if it gets scratched. I don't want a safe queen. Just want one that goes "bang" and has a good tight lockup. Would also consider Ruger SP 101 but prefer a model 60. Model 60 in 357.

Very simple holster, but much more comfortable than anything I have tried. I carry a S&W 40c with it daily. I often forget I am carrying. I have a smaller waist and have tried at least 5 different holsters. This one does it for me.

I have tried numerous holsters with very little luck. Most have been very uncomfortable and felt bulky. Bought the holster in the attached picture a few months ago. Most simple and comfortable holster yet. Hand made by a local guy here in WV. Simple and effective.

It's got so bad I stop by my LGS a couple times a week to check his used guns, hoping he has something interesting. I figure if I can get a pretty decent deal why not. The older Smiths seem to continue to increase in value. If times ever get tough they seem pretty easy to sale.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like $700 is a fair price. My S&W handgun addiction is tough to control!
